Harkness design update and upcoming pop-in session

Last year, we heard diverse feedback about the reimagined memorial park at Harkness in Melbourne’s west. This was collected via a series of community workshops and extensive consultation with Wurundjeri Elders, the site's Traditional Owners.

Your input, along with the rich heritage of the Wurundjeri people and the region’s cultural diversity, continues to guide our approach.

Stage 1 design update

Our team has been working hard to incorporate feedback into the Stage 1 designs. We look forward to sharing these in a few months - marking an exciting milestone for the memorial park.

The designs will showcase the site’s initial development phase where people can connect, reflect, and draw inspiration from the community and surrounding landscape.

Upcoming community pop-in

Your ongoing interest is highly valued as we progress. A community pop-in session is in the works for later this year, where we will provide a more detailed update about the park’s development.
