River Red Gum Precinct Stage 2

The Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (GMCT) will start works on Stage 2 of the River Red Gum Precinct located within Northern Memorial Park in early 2025.

When completed, this precinct will include tranquil tree-lined avenues and a new shared bicycle path to connect the cemetery with local reserves, creating a peaceful route for visitors and the community.

This new area will be a place of inclusion, remembrance, and a sanctuary where cultural and environmental values are respected, preserved, and enhanced.
